I have had kitchens remodeled in two homes before, so I was ready for a nightmare. In fact, it started out that way, when my two least favorite home stores quoted me $40,000 to do my kitchen, and wanted me to pay for my own electrician and plumber. Tyler at American Kitchen Corporation quoted me $17,000 and included the electrical and plumbing. I was very leery of them simply because their price was so low, but their cabinets are nicer than anything else I've seen. They are solid wood with an amazingly smooth finish. There is nothing I wanted that they did not include for free.
My contractor, Jeff, was amazing. American Kitchen Corporation is in Alamance, North Carolina, but they sell in the whole state. If you live in Raleigh, I was ask for Jeff. I have had a lot of contractors before, but Jeff is easily the best I've ever worked with. I made a million changes (what else is new?) and he was very, very patient. The job should have been delayed by all my changes, but it really ended up right about being on time (2 days late). But that was my fault. I think if anyone is getting their kitchen done, you need to talk to Tyler. Also, I like that it is employee-owned. Everyone I talked to on the phone seemed like they really cared about my feelings.
I was so excited when I got my mailer for American Kitchen. I recently bought my first home and the kitchen is in terrible need on remodeling. The price was so good I couldnt help but call. My sales rep was so nice when he came out, he explained how everything would go and when he showed me the samples of the cabinets, I was in love. My project is scheduled to start in a couple days. I just meet my contractor Jeff and he was wonderful. I cant wait to see the final project come out.
I wanted to remodel my kitchen but knew the amount of time, sweat and money it would take for me to do it on my own. I looked at Lowe's and Home Depot and American Kitchen was half there price. My parents did their kitchen on their own and it took much longer than American Kitchen took, plus American Kitchen did it ALL for less!
I have had a bad experience in the past with people who have worked in my home, but I put faith in American Kitchen and they came through over and beyond what was promised. I have a beautifully finished kitchen with an amazingly smooth cabinet finish.
I was so happy with the Contractor that came out to oversee all the work being done. He had answers to all of my questions, and there were many!
I cannot overemphasize how much I recommend using American Kitchen to remodel your kitchen! You will be amazed with the finished product!
My kitchen remodel from American Kitchen is complete. This company really delivered on what they offered. I have a completely remodeled kitchen with brand new everything. Including extras I didn't even know I was missing! We had our first family gathering since the remodel and as always everyone ended up in the kitchen. But this time it was because of the beauty of it. My parents were amazed at the quality of the work as they were skeptical when they heard the price. If the way to a mans heart is through his stomach, then the way to this woman's heart is American Kitchen Corp. I am going to have the most beautiful kitchen ever and I cannot wait! The cabinets I picked are breathtaking. Right now they are installing the granite and it is the biggest and most beautiful stone I have ever seen. My husband is going to be thrilled with the food that is to come out of this new and improved kitchen!
Hey, check out the comment on 6/26 by AmKiCo then look at the 7/22 comment by AmKiCo...The 1st one clearly shows that they are the company and the 2nd one shows that they are a customer...Smells fishy to me. I would avoid this company at all costs.
I bought a great Kitchen Island at ChefDepot.com , the Chefs have been a joy to work with. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Always amazes me when i check out their website and still find USA made products & unbeatable low prices
